All you need to know about the Fractal x Cards of Ethernity event

To celebrate its ultimate launch on Polygon, Solana's leading Web3 gaming platform Fractal has launched a free tournament in partnership with Polygon-based collectible card game (CCG), Cards of Ethernity.

Players will be able to fight in ranked matches to share a $5,000 USDT prize pool. The event begins on January 24th, 11 AM (ET), and will run for a month until February 24th, 11 AM (ET). Fractal will also give away a limited edition card back to every player who logs in within the first 48 hours of the tournament.

Cards of Ethernity (CoE) is a play-and-earn CCG set in the dark fantasy world of Aether. The game currently features 150 collectible cards, allowing gamers to play as various Adventurers, complete with their unique creatures, spells, and relics.

To participate in this event, players must first create a Fractal wallet if they do not have one. Once done, they need to visit CoE's project page on Fractal, click "Play Now," and download the launcher from CoE's official website to install the game. After that, players only need to launch the game and sign in with Fractal before completing the tutorial and entering "Ranked Mode" to join the tournament.

Those who log into the game and make a Fractal Wallet within the first 48 hours of the event can watch out for an email from Fractal and Polkastarter Gaming (PGG). Upon receiving it, head over to PGG's official website to create an account using your Fractal Wallet email. From there, you can claim your special badge and mint your "Fractal x Polygon x PGG: CoE OG" proof-of-play NFT. You will receive the commemorative card back in your CoE account within a week.

As players win in Ranked matches, they will earn MMR points to climb up the leaderboard. The top 200 players in this competition will share a $5,000 USDT prize pool based on the allocation below:

  • 1st place: $1,000
  • 2nd place: $700
  • 3rd place: $450
  • 4-10th place: $150 each
  • 11-50th place: $20 each
  • 51-100th place: $10 each
  • 101–200th place: $5 each

Each participant will also get exclusive Fractal x Polygon emotes in Cards of Ethernity. To learn more, check out the official post here
