Frutti Dino Derby Season 2 Is Live
Season 2 of Frutti Dino Derby features a prize pool of 3.5 BNB, 7300 FDT and 2 NFTs.
The Monoverse team has announced that Season 2 of Frutti Dino Derby, a free-to-play dinosaur betting game on the Dino Arcade, is now officially live.
Following on the successful first season that included more than 1900 players from 53 countries playing a total of 493,788 times, the developers are now kicking off Season 2, which started today, January 31, and will end on March 2.
This new season comes with a bigger prize pool that includes 3.5 BNB alongside 7300 FDT and 2 NFTs: 1 Rare Dino NFT and 1 Normal Dino NFT. The BNB is distributed to the top 3 players, while the FDT is given to those ranked from 4th to 50th. In order to get an NFT, you’ll have to rank either 1st or 2nd place in the Win Streak category, with the player who has the highest win streak at the end of the season earning a Rare Dino NFT, while the second best player walks away with a Normal Dino NFT.
Another change from last season is that players are now awarded with 3000 free Derby Points every day instead of 1000, while the highest allowed betting amount has been increased from 300 to 500.
In order to qualify, you have to play more than 100 times. If you play less but still end up ranking in the top 50, you will not be eligible for rewards.
An account must be created on the Frutti Dino ecosystem in order to play this betting game. Logging in daily gives you 3000 free Derby Points, which you can then use for betting in order to increase the number of points you have, with the goal being to have the highest number of Derby Points at the end of season in order to end up ranking in the top 50 on the leaderboard. The goal is to bet on the right Dino, with the game allowing you to select up to 3 out of 6 different Dinos on every bet. While selecting more than 1 Dino gives you a potentially higher chance of winning, the amount that you gain does get lowered.
Frutti Dino was voted as one of the most anticipated blockchain games of the PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2022. Players will be able to use Frutti Dino NFTs for upcoming Dinoverse games: Frutti Dino Stories and Frutti Dino. The former is described as a “casual growth game” and is scheduled to come out in Q1 this year, while the latter is a tactical RPG that is planned to come out in the second quarter of this year.
