Fusionist Announces Beta II: Galactic Duel
Interested participants can compete in various events during the qualification period from November 7th to November 21st for a chance at earning a key to access Fusionist Beta II: Galactic Duel.
Developer Fusion Interactive has announced Beta II: Galactic Duel for their turn-based blockchain mech title, Fusionist.
Beta II: Galactic Duel Details
The second beta of what is described as a social blockchain game and game infrastructure layer is a closed testing phase which has a qualification period currently ongoing from November 7th to November 21st, 7 AM UTC.
During this 2-week qualifying timeframe, a total of 3000 beta keys will be given out across 4 different events. Participation requires connecting your wallet on the relevant page on the game’s official website in order to be able to receive rewards. If you end up getting a key, you’ll be able to take part in beta testing where, based on the preview footage, you will be able to enjoy turn-based gameplay using detailed mechs. Beta testers will get to compete for NFT prizes valued at $30k alongside a prize pool of 30k $ACE tokens. The player with the highest score by the end of the testing session will be awarded with 10k $ACE tokens.
According to the official post, those who take part in multiple events using a single account could end up potentially being rewarded with Steam codes, a maximum of 3 per participant.
Out of the 4 events, 3 are currently still live: Expedition 3.0 PvP, Airdrop for Pioneer of Fusionist’s Holders, and Wave.
Expedition 3.0 PvP Event
This sub-event runs from November 7th to November 21st, 7 AM UTC, during which players can compete for a share of 50k Nova Points and a chance at securing one of 800 qualification spots by playing this new PvP-focused game mode. If you’re one of the first 5000 players to jump in, you can enjoy daily matches for free, but if not, then you will have to spend at least 20 Nova Points in order to take part in this event.
If you end up being one of the top 800 players on the leaderboard, you will be rewarded with a Beta II key, while the top 10 players will earn a share of the 50k Nova Points.
Wave & Airdrop Event
Wave is a mini-game found in the game’s official Discord server running from November 15th, 7 AM UTC to November 21st, 7 AM UTC. During this 48-hour period, players choose their country and send a specified keyword that includes Galactic Duel or Fusionist Beta II: Galactic Duel. Full details available on the specific event page. Rewards include 200k Nova Points and 800 beta keys.
As for the airdrop event, by being a holder of a Pioneer of Fusionist NFT, you will be eligible for earning one of 298 qualification spots set to be distributed once the snapshot is taken on November 13th at 7 AM UTC. The NFT collection can be found on OpenSea.
