Gala Film has officially announced that Rosario Dawson and Tony Revolori are part of the cast for the upcoming NFT animated series, Ghosts of Ruin.
Ghosts of Ruin is an anime show set in a dystopian sci-fi San Francisco where gamers have moved on from virtual reality to neural reality, where people get to use neural technology to play games right in their minds. Viewers will get to watch a group of gamers take part in the first neutral reality tournament for a battle royale game titled ‘Ruin,’ but participants soon find this immersive experience turn into the opposite of fun thanks to a rogue program.
The two prominent Hollywood actors will lend their voices to Prism and Lee: the former is a professional gamer who wants to be the world champion and will be voiced by Dawson, while Revolori will voice the series protagonist, Lee.
Rosario Dawson is known for a variety of different works, including her role in Star Wars, specifically as Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, while Tony Revolori is known for acting as Flash Thompson in the Spider-Man trilogy, and for his role as Zero Moustafa in The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Ghosts of Ruin is scheduled to debut in August this year for NFT holders, after which the show will look to make its way to other major streaming platforms. Owning the show’s entry-tier NFT, which costs $250 worth of $GALA tokens, will also give you access to exclusive content and more next to the show itself.
