Gala Games Launches a $1 Million Bug Bounty Program on Immunefi
Following $GALA's massive contract upgrade and pledge to burn 20.9 billion $GALA last week, Gala has now launched a bug bounty program as a promise to its long-term success.

What is the Gala Games bug bounty program about?
Gala Games, a leading Web3 gaming and entertainment firm, has announced a $1 million bug bounty program in partnership with Immunefi.
As Gala's ecosystem grows, so does the demand for improved blockchain security. From now until the end of 2023, all whitehat hackers and security experts are invited to join the program and search for weaknesses in Gala's smart contracts. These assets include $GALA, $SILK, and $MTRM's token contracts, websites, and applications for Gala Games, Gala Film, Gala Music, Nodes, and more.
All bounty payments will be made in $GALA and denominated in USD. Participants may be awarded up to $50,000 per security flaw, depending on the threat level. These critical impacts include the manipulation of DAO voting results, direct theft of user funds or NFTs due to smart contract vulnerabilities, and the retrieval of sensitive info due to website or application flaws. However, attacks that the reporter has already exploited themselves and caused damage will be excluded. The same goes for any physical or social engineering attempts, attacks requiring access to leaked keys or credentials, and any known vulnerabilities at Gala.
Smart Contracts:
- Critical: $50,000.
- High: $20,000.
- Medium: $7,500.
Websites and applications:
- Critical: $5,000.
- High: $2,000.
- Medium: $1,000.
Nonetheless, participants can report a bug to the bug bounty program by visiting Gala's official bug bounty page on Immunefi. To qualify for rewards, participants must complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYT (Know Your Transaction) verification on Immunefi. For more details, check out the official page here.
