Web3 fantasy sports platform GameOn has announced a regional partnership with LaLiga North America to create officially-licensed NFT fantasy games that will be available for fans in the US and Canada. Fans will be able to earn VIP tickets, cash, signed merchandise and more exclusive prizes.

GameOn, a Web3-based fantasy sports platform, has announced a huge regional partnership with LaLiga, one of the world’s most popular football/soccer leagues, to develop officially-licensed NFT fantasy games in North America.
Partnership Details
By successfully forming a partnership with LaLiga North America, GameOn will be launching “next-gen” fantasy games that are based on real-world LaLiga players and matches, giving fans an opportunity to engage with their favorite league by collecting playable avatars and customizing gear while enjoying various game modes that include Live Fantasy, Quests, and PvP Battles. Fans will have a chance of winning exclusive prizes in all modes. Based on the official press release, rewards will include cash, VIP tickets, meet-ups with superstars, and signed merchandise.
These upcoming Web3 titles will be promoted by the league through in-stadium events, email, watch parties, mobile apps, their website and social media. As this is a regional partnership, these games will only be playable for fans in the US and Canada.
The CEO of GameOn, Matt Bailey, said the following in the press release:
"We can't wait to deliver next-gen fantasy games to millions of LALIGA fans, bringing them closer to the world's best clubs and players. We're focused on major league opportunities that leverage our scalable PLAYN3XT platform and drive highly-profitable revenue growth. LALIGA is our execution in action."
The partnership encompasses both LaLiga EA SPORTS, the top-flight competition, and the second division, LaLiga HYPERMOTION.
Boris Gartner, the CEO of LaLiga North America, added:
"Connecting and engaging with LALIGA fans across different platforms and products is always our number one priority and we're excited to be able to do this with our partners at GameOn. Their innovative approach to fan engagement allows our audience opportunities to interact with LALIGA's world-favorite clubs and players like never before."
The press release also seems to mention that a few other partnerships will also be announced, after which the Web3-focused company will provide “new and detailed guidance” on revenue projections, either in late Q3 or early Q4, with the management expecting every partner to “exponentially drive GameOn's investor reach, brand equity, and bottom line,” with Bailey concluding the announcement with the following: "The LALIGA announcement signals a new era for GameOn. We will continue to garner meaningful relationships with major leagues and are confident we'll announce several new partnerships in the coming months."
