Gods Unchained Showcases Upcoming UI Updates
The upcoming UI updates for Gods Unchained include correctly displaying long player names, adding an option for adjusting hand card position and more.
These changes are being implemented in order to make sure the game’s user interface works properly on any device. The fixes solve the various bugs that came with the new UI that launched last month but which got quickly reverted back to the old UI as a result of issues. This new UI moves the mana wheel location to the left, and the player’s card hand location to the right part of the screen. The opponent’s mana wheel will be moved from the top left to the top right, while their card hand location will go to the top left corner, the same corner of the screen in which the bug reporter and settings button will be located at.
The developers revealed some of the fixes planned for release at some point next week. More UI features may get included in the coming weeks, and some might get binned depending on how things go.
One of the fixes the team plans on including for the new UI removes the issue that made it impossible for most players to use the card that is all the way to their right in their hand and has the keyword Empower. Another fix will give players the option to adjust the positioning of their hand card, with the default location for mobile being the right, while the desktop version will have it set to the center by default. Other changes include properly showing long player names, fixing the hitbox for the last mana pip and more. You can check out a summary list of fixes from the team’s official blog post here.
