GRIT Is Officially Launching This Week
GRIT, a play-to-earn Wild West battle royale that is part of the Gala Games ecosystem, is set to officially launch this week as a free-to-play title on Thursday, May 25th.
Gala Games has revealed that there is only 3 days to go until the official launch of wild west battle royale GRIT, meaning that we should expect to see the full release of the free-to-play blockchain title take place this week on Thursday, May 25th.
Once the game makes its public debut in 3 days, players will be able to enjoy the full experience that this NFT title offers. Part of the Gala Games ecosystem, GRIT is a third-person battle royale in which players will be able to fight to the death using more than 20 different weapons while avoiding the engulfing Calamity in a Wild West setting. Utilize a card-based perk system as well as projectile-based weapons as you first-person zoom-in to your advantage as you play solo, duo or in squad showdowns. In tune with the theme, players will be able to ride on horseback in order to quickly traverse environments and ensure you remain inside the enclosing ring. Next to mobility, you can also shoot others while horse riding.
Developed by Team GRIT, this play-to-earn title is Gala’s first title to make its way to the Epic Games Store, and is actually the first NFT game to be listed there.
If you don’t want to wait for this official release, then you can actually jump into the game already thanks to Gala’s May Mayhem that made the GRIT Playtest go live on the Epic Games Store earlier this month, free for everyone to play. The only caveat however is that your progress will likely be either partially or completely reset once the official launch happens.
