Idle Ninja Online Launches on XPLA with Reboot Update
Idle Ninja Online, a top-down 2D mobile RPG, is now live on the XPLA blockchain network and comes with a reboot update introducing a dedicated server, new types of weapons, and more.
What’s new in the Reboot Update?
Idle Ninja Online is a top-down 2D game featuring idle and action elements alongside obtainable NINKY tokens.
With the reboot update, the game has undergone significant improvements that help provide a better gameplay experience. Namely, the team has created a new XPLA dedicated server called Starlight. It’s linked to the XPLA Chain, allowing you to enjoy the game on XPLA using a MetaMask wallet. For the time being, there are some differences in this new server in comparison to the Moonlight one, such as the lack of Honor Battlefield PvP content. The NINKY coin ranking rewards may also differ, while battle summons will not appear on the new server.
Aside from adding a new server, the developers have introduced new apprenticeship missions and tutorials to help newcomers better get up to speed with the game. It’s also been announced that the visuals for some monsters and for the general hunting grounds is being improved, with plans to add in some overall balance tweaks as well for a better early game experience.
The overall UI has been upgraded, making in-game icons more readable and crafting simpler, while item management is now more user-friendly.
There are now 3 new types of upgradable weapons included in the game as part of a new weapon system: katanas, bows, and spears. They come in “various grades and qualities” and can be earned in new dungeon content titled “The Abyss of Chaos.”
A new mini-map feature is now live, making it easier to find other players and NPCs in the game’s large world.
In the official announcement, XPLA has teased that various “exhilarating” events are scheduled to make their way to the game in the future. You can download the RPG in the meantime for free on Android and iOS devices.
