Illuvium Releases Updates on Game Development
Illuvium unveils major developmental updates across its various game section.
Open-world exploration game, Illuvium released Arena 0.2.2 a few weeks after releasing Arena 0.2.1. In the newest version, only a few bugs were fixed. The developers fixed issues peculiar to Mac users. Interestingly. the development of Ascendant Modes is still in progress.
Illuvium updated the UI, moved all UI assets to a more performant system, optimized Tech Art. fixed bug issues, balanced Data science, and carried out internal refactoring. The team also deliberated on releasing Overworld 0.1.0 in October. However, after a prolonged discussion, Illuvium team members decided to refine the Overworld 0.1.0 before a future release. A larger percentage of the task carried out by the team were related to bug fixing. The backend work and leaderboard UI have been completed. Also, the UI of Illuvium Zero has been implemented.
Major Game Updates on Illuvium
The Illuvium Website has been recently upgraded. Illiuvium’s news channel has been moved from Medium to the website. The latest website updates feature improved tracking on the website and web apps, a more secure platform, and an implemented UX Review. Some minor bug fixes have been made on Tablet & Mobile. Meanwhile, development has continued for IlluviDex v2.1 for Account Areas supporting Illuvitars Delivery. Other notable delivery developments improvements to log-in, Registration, Wallet Linking, Account Linking, and User Settings.
Despite numerous updates, the Play App did not receive any updates. All required updates have been made in the previous month. The Account updates feature Overworld Product Page, re-designed beta registration flow v2, Video Content for Arena, Arena PB2 Support Copy, as well as Feedback & FAQs. Illuvium is currently negotiating for a 3rd party Launcher. Unfortunately, the team did not release any news regarding the Cinematic. Other major updates include the Merchandise store, Infrastructure, and the game’s storyline.
