Imperium Empires PvP alpha version going live on September 14
The first season of the PvP alpha version of the sci-fi MMORTS is planned to last for one month and features a prize pool of 7 million $IME.
The developers of Imperium Empires, a space metaverse on the Avalanche network, are launching a PvP alpha version of the blockchain title this month on September 14 at 1 PM UTC.
Compared to the pre-alpha demo released back in April this year, this upcoming version of the MMORTS introduces a skill system, missile invasion and multiplayer battles. It’ll be available on PC for Windows and Mac and feature a prize pool of 7 million $IME. The goal of the game is to gather as many loot boxes as you can within 5 minutes while fighting other players. To play, players will need to register an account with a connected MetaMask wallet and own a Spaceship NFT. A player’s score on the leaderboard is based on their “best three recorded matches.” Scores of matches played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 PM – 2 PM and 7 PM – 8 PM UTC will be recorded.
The season is set to last one month, with the first week available only for those who own a TriPod-X and Pelicouter, with the team planning to “gradually open the alpha PvP to more players.” The exact date for when the season ends will be revealed at a later point in time.

This PvP game follows up on the economic-focused, web-based Apollo, where spaceship NFT holders can gather and trade resources to earn L-IMC tokens. According to the roadmap, a beta version of Imperium Empires is set to launch in Q4 this year, followed by the full official release in the same quarter.
