Index Game Secures $1.7 Million Investment from The Sandbox to Boost Metaverse Experiences
Earlier this week, Hong Kong-based metaverse agency Index Game received a $1.7 million investment from The Sandbox to build bigger and better metaverse experiences.

On Monday, Hong Kong-based metaverse startup Index Game secured $1.7 million in funding from The Sandbox to build bigger, better metaverse experiences with play-to-earn content in virtual realms.
To those who don't know, Index Game is the first Hong Kong-based metaverse agency appointed by The Sandbox to build on its platform. The recent move also makes it the first company in Hong Kong to receive funding from the metaverse giant.
Based on the agreement, though, The Sandbox will invest more into Index Game over time. By 2023, the investment amount will go up to $6 million. With that, it will also provide Index Game with an exclusive arrangement for IPs created during the collaboration.
