INK Games Raises Close to $19M In Funding to Support its Platform Development
INK will use the funding to build its platform and work on the Prize Kingdom game, which will be ready before the year ends.
Details Of INK Games and The Fundraising
INK Games has announced it just closed $18.75 in its recent fundraising round. The Austin-based startup raised $9.5 million in September's initial and first round last year. INK is a social and web3 commerce network which rewards users according to their level of engagement and influence, and this funding will be used to create its platform alongside the Prize Kingdom mobile game.
In an interview, the co-founder and CEO of INK, Robert Towles, spoke on the specific details about the prospect for INK Games. he said,
"INK Games offers the only platform where billions of users can get paid for playing games and referring others. With our technology, users can onboard their entire connectivity and social reach — and monetize their viral reach, forever."
He further added that mobile casual gamers have realized the tremendous value they bring to any gaming project; hence they are determined to receive incentives that match their investments into these games. INK Games seeks to reward this desire.
About the Prize Kingdom
Prize Kingdom is the new release from INK Games, and the studio is already testing the game in some regions before its anticipated launch later this year.
The CCO and co-founder of INK, John Gause, also commented,
“Users are playing every day, often logging multiple hours of gametime. Importantly, our playtesting proves that we're 'a game for everyone' — and will have massive appeal to the global gaming community. Engagement rates are already incredible across various segments and demographics, including age and gender. Users are blown away by the competitive social features and opportunity to win real prizes. Full release of Prize Kingdoms is scheduled for later this year and we're anticipating mass-market success."
