Kawaii Islands set to release Fishing Orders for 8th Kawaii League
Earn league trophies by completing fishing orders during next week’s 8th Kawaii League of Kawaii Islands, an anime metaverse featuring a mini-game called Fishing Island.
The developers of Kawaii Islands, also known as the Kawaiiverse, have announced the introduction of fishing orders to the Kawaii Seasonal League.
After more than a month since the release of Fishing Island, the first mini-game of the anime metaverse, the team is now adding fishing orders, which are new slots in the order vending machine reserved specifically for fishing that make it possible to earn league trophies in the Kawaii Seasonal League. In order to unlock a fishing order slot, players need to be at least level 10, with another slot unlocked upon reaching level 15. Players can have a total of 2 fishing orders in the order vending machine, with each slot awarding players with league trophies. In the beginning it’ll be 5 trophies per slot, but the amount that can be earned increases “each time a player races up a tier.”
As NFTs for fishing are not yet available, trophies will be rewarded 10 hours after a fishing order is completed. The developers have also stated that because of the lack of these NFTs, the “order balances might be updated in the future to further balance the game.”
The new fishing orders are set to go live next week together with the 8th Kawaii League, while rewards for the 7th league are set to be unlocked soon once maintenance for the OraiDEX is finished.
The Fishing Island mini-game lets players go fishing together while completing various challenges. There are a total of 13 different types of fish to catch, which can be converted into energy to use for other activities on the Kawaii Islands.
