Laguna Games Releases Twilight Tactics
The daily rewards for each faction depends on the faction controlling a region.
Laguna Games has released a new feature that officially opens up the battles between Unicorns and Shadowcorns. The team also highlighted the five primary goals for Twilight Tactics. These goals include a Player Agency, Control over Unicorn Death, Minimizing unlocked unicorns. There is also lowered barrier to entry and an introduction to squad combat.
Laguna Games would be dividing Twilight Tactics into two periods. These are the battle period and tranquility period. The battle period is scheduled to last for 1 month and the tranquility period for 2 months. Once the war begins, Unicorns would feel the wrath of Shadowcorns as a 20% increase in stat threshold. However, once the war is over, the stat threshold returns back to its baseline value. There might still be slight adjustments but this depends on the winning side during the battle.
For the first time in history, Unicorn death would also be introduced as they form squads to battle Shadowcorn Minions. This feature helps to develop a mechanism that keeps the growing Unicorn population in check. All those who participate in Twilight Tactics will get Domination Points which determines the amount of daily rewards. It also determines which faction controls a region and a player’s position in the Leaderboards. However, the Domination Points for the current season would be erased before the next season begins
Gas Mechanics and Rewards
The team has also implemented a feature to automatically payback the large portion of gas fee spent in Twilight Tactics. Once a transaction is confirmed, a large amount of the MATIC spent by the players on the transaction is transferred back to their wallets. However, there is a maximum amount to which any player can be reimbursed.
Furthermore, daily rewards would be distributed during the 1 month battle period on the basis of the Domination points earned. Unicorn players would receive $UNIM and Rift Crystals. However, Shadowcorn players would receive an additional dark mark on their $UNIM and Rift Crystals.
