Legendary Heroes: Unchained Is Live in Public Alpha with Combat 2.0 Update
A public alpha of Legendary Heroes: Unchained is live until September 5th, bringing with it Combat 2.0, the turn-based card RPG’s biggest update yet that adds in a new strategic battle system while introducing a guild system and starter dungeon.
Legendary Heroes: Unchained, a turn-based card blockchain RPG, is now live in public alpha, bringing with it the Combat 2.0 update to provide a better gameplay experience.
The Web3 title previously underwent 2 closed alphas this year, one in June and the other in July, and is now playable for everyone through a public playtest that kicked off on August 28th and will end on September 5th. This bring the biggest update to the game yet, introducing the ability to upgrade your heroes as you make your way through a new storyline and enjoy a new strategic battle system, with the story featuring various paths to progress through that may have you make some choices as well.
The new combat system overhauls gameplay with a new turn-based tactical experience where you have more control over a battle. You can now select your card Heroes and choose which enemy you want to target, doing basic attacks as well as special moves over time. As you play, you’ll get to climb the leaderboards for a chance at earning various exclusive alpha rewards.
As a result of this playtest being public, the developers have introduced a starter dungeon acting as a new tutorial to help you get to grips with the game by going through a character-driven adventure providing a first teaser of the game’s narrative and characters.
