Darewise Entertainment, the developers of Life Beyond, a Web3 play-and-earn MMO on the Polygon network, have released a new content update last week.

The second content update since the game’s open alpha release includes 3 new expeditions that take place on an entirely new map, 2 new enemies that can only be found in the newly-added expeditions, a new weapon upgrade level, new difficulty mode and new outfits.

These three new expeditions are called “Repair & Defend”, “Silicate Hunt” and “Rescue Lost Agent”. Each of them allows up to 4 players to play together. In the first one, the goal is to construct energy generators and power “enough Decontaminators to reveal the target area,” after which players must go to the location and defend it from various enemies while it gets scanned. Silicate Hunt has players search and gather Silicates in a certain region while the last one is about finding lost DEEP agents and protecting them while commencing the “extraction procedure to get them back to base.”

The two new enemies are called the Burster and Lurker. Bursters try to get as close as possible in order to explode, while Lurkers crawl underground and wait for the right moment to jump out and attack.

Players can now upgrade their weapons to a new upgrade level called Epic to make them even stronger, which is sure to come in handy for those wanting to try out the new difficulty mode called Nightmare. There are now three new outfits, each of which is useful for various certain conditions.

Life Beyond released in open alpha back in early July this year, with owners of the Apartment Access Key (AAK) NFT getting early access near the end of June. It’s available on PC via the game’s own launcher and is backed by Animoca Brands.
