Loco Legends Becomes The First Ever eSports NFT Platform In India
Top Gaming entertainment company, Loco, unveils eSports NFT Platform, Loco Legends, the first of its kind in India.
Loco has recently announced the launch of its eSport platform titled Loco Legends that will allow users to own and trade collectibles, strengthen the game's fan base and create delightful experiences. According to Loco, the platform will set the stage for decentralization for gaming creators, which tallies with their commitment to supporting the Game-Fi ecosystem in the country.
The team will utilize the use of NFT in authenticating unique digital items to strengthen communities and generate revenue between eSports teams and their fans. Loco has generated over $51 million since its inception, with 52 million users, making it the largest and most engaged community of gamers.
Loco Legends has signed partnership deals with top eSports teams in India, including 8bit, soul, XO, Godlike and a host of others. These Indian eSports teams dominate popular games like BGMI, FreeFire Max, and Valorant, among many others providing fans with an immersive NFT experience.
The team stated,

Loco Legend NFT eSports Cards
The first asset on Loco Legends will be NFT esports cards. Users can carry out transactional activities with NFT trading cards and participate in free-to-play fantasy pools. They can collect, own and trade these limited edition digital collectibles.
Loco has also implemented a proprietary data system that powers its platform. This system will manage the data generated by the large number of tournaments empowered by Loco. The company has partnership deals with major eSports tournament organizers like VIllagers eSports and Upthrust eSports to ensure its data platform has a first-class data pipeline.
The NFT would have a limited supply and be unique to each owner. The platform has been soft-launched and will be fully launched in July 2022. Loco has partnered with several tech giants such as Logitech, Krafton, Activision, Ubisoft, and Red Bull, among many others. Reports show that 60 percent of its users are knowledgeable about Web3 and they desire to buy NFTs to support their favorite eSports streamer and teams.
