Magic Eden To Launch Sales of Next Pokémon Card NFT on October 27th
The sale is a great chance for users to enjoy childhood nostalgia using modern innovation.
Magic Eden has announced it will be launching the sales of its fun-filled Pokémon Card NFT on October 27th by 12 pm ET. This update is coming after a successful collaboration with @collector_crypt.
Content of the Pokemon Package
The sales consist of 250 tokenized Pokémon cards, which are redeemable since physical copies back them. The floor price for minting these assets is 5.5 SOL.
Among this pack of cards include prominent NFTs like the 2016 #296 Luigi Pikachu BGS 9.5 from the Pokémon XY series, as well as the vintage 1999 Pokémon Japanese Vending Masaki Promo Holo Gengar #94, which has a PSA 9 Mint rating.
Fans who were around during the Diamond and Pearl series will be happy to find the 2007 #19 Suicune-Holo card rated PSA 10. Another NFT worthy of mentioning is the classic 1997 Pokemon Japanese fossil Halo Gengar #94, which has a PSA 10 Gem Mint grade.
Early Access Pass For The Minting Phase
Magic Eden has made proactive steps to ensure the smooth flow of this process by reserving access passes for some communities for the previous minting phase, which is tagged ‘phase 1 minting.’
Requirements for the early access passes vary according to the project. The dev team will appreciate suggestions from the community on the projects that should be granted phase 1 access. Apart from the phase 1 minting, there will be a public phase that ensures that those outside the specific communities have a chance at acquiring the NFTs.
Lately, on-chain real-world assets (RWA) have been gaining momentum, with Pokemon having success stories. The idea was birthed in September by Courtyard and started as a collection that later saw a 10x pump in its floor price. After Courtyard’s story, Magic Eden launched its first Pokemon sales, which was competed for, especially the two rare Charizards and other important items.
