MetaShooter is now live on Steam
Players can now request playtest access on the official Steam store page of the alpha version of the play-to-earn hunting metaverse.
MG Labs, the developers of MetaShooter, a first-person hunting metaverse, have launched the alpha version of the game on Steam.
In order to play it from Steam, players must request playtest access from the official store page in order to receive a confirmation email that adds the title to their Steam library. The team’s tweet also states that an alpha invitation key is needed in order to play the blockchain title.
Aside from winning a giveaway, an alpha key can be gained by staking at least 300 MHUNT for 3 months. The MetaShooter token (MHUNT) is the core token of the game available on the Polygon network, used for things such as purchasing hunting equipment and tournament tickets. Those who stake 600 MHUNT not only get an alpha key, but also a hunting badge, with details on badge utility available here.
Alongside the Steam launch, the team has also released a new update, making the open-world map 3 times bigger while improving PC performance, introducing a new UI, adding leaderboards as well as a beta version of an NFT explorer. Animal AI has also been improved and various bugs for the previously added missions have also been fixed. For more info, check out the official post here.
A mobile version is scheduled to launch in Q4 this year, while the full game is set to release sometime in the first half of next year.
