Mighty Action Heroes Announces New Open Beta Update, Mighty Road, Introducing Season Pass & More on September 15
Mighty Road is an upcoming new open beta version of Mighty Action Heroes, set to arrive on September 15 with the introduction of the game’s first-ever season pass, alongside new Heroes and more.
Mighty Bear Games has announced Mighty Action Heroes: Mighty Road, a new open beta version of the top-down battle royale, scheduled to launch on September 15 with various new additions, including a season pass.
With this update, the game will be getting its first-ever season pass, set to feature various quests for players to complete in order to earn both XP and rewards.
The upcoming beta build will bring with it 8 new heroes, as well as 2 permanent starter Heroes for everyone to play with for free: Combat Commando and Officer Xena. Players will be able to unlock new collectible Heroes using Hero Supply Crates. These crates can be gained through the Shop, Season Pass, and Mighty Road. Mighty Road is a progression system through which you complete missions in order to level up your profile and earn rewards in the process. These rewards can include Supply Crates, Heroes, and Perks.
Perks represent a new feature arriving with the upcoming update that can help you gain an advantage in battle by providing a certain buff to your Hero. It seems that there will be 10 Perks to choose from, and while specific details haven’t been revealed, we do know their names and what they look like. Based on what’s been shown so far, perks will vary from providing you with healing to letting you quickly reload ammo. It’ll be interesting to see how this affects the gameplay experience and whether you’ll be able to equip one or multiple to your Hero.
The studio is set to provide more info on the new version as the launch nears. Mighty Action Heroes initially launched into open beta on July 14 this year and overall, it looks like September 15 will be a great time for both returning and new players to jump into this free-to-play blockchain battle royale, available on web browsers and Android devices. Playing the Android version currently requires downloading and installing an APK file from the game’s official website.
