Google Play Store Launch Details
According to the official announcement, this version of the game is globally available for anyone to download through the store page and enjoy for free on Android devices. This means that if you’ve previously played on mobile using the APK file, you’ll now have to uninstall that version and download this one from the Play Store instead, as that APK has now been deprecated, meaning it will no longer be able to work.
Aside from the release to the popular mobile app store, it doesn’t seem there are any new features added to the game. This means that the current version players can jump into is the open beta referred to as Mighty Road, which is possibly the largest update released to this Web3 title to date. It came out last month on September 15th and brought with it the game’s first-ever season pass, alongside perks, new heroes, and more.
By getting listed on Google Play, the game is now open to a potential wider audience as it now has a better chance of gaining more visibility than ever before thanks to making the blockchain title more accessible to jump into on mobile devices.
