Mines of Dalarnia has launched New Gameplay - The Sunken Swamps
The Sunken Swamps has gone live in Mines of Dalarnia. Here's a quick glimpse of the game!
What do we know about The Sunken Swamps in Mines of Dalarnia?
The Sunken Swamps - new gameplay in Mines of Dalarnia (MoD) has gone live! Apparently, the game will be way more challenging as it is a PL14 event depth, which requires a Miner Power Level 12 to access.
To start playing, players will need to download a new game client from the MoD website. After that, they will need to craft a slime-covered terraforming capsule in the game. When a player starts to terraform with the new capsule, it will trigger both the Sunken Swamps depth and the Hopper Infestation Event on the land. This is how players get to access the new game on their PC.
According to the team, the Sunken Swamps are infested with new monsters called Hoppers as shown above. Instead of collecting gems, players will now have to defeat these creatures to earn points and stars in the game. What's more, those who have completed digs on the Sunken Swamps will earn one of the 3 unique resources depending on the aspect of the depth. This can be Cryptonite, Rocksidian, or Jungle Gems as seen below.
What can players do with these resources then? Turns out that players can use them to craft 3 powerful PL14 Elite Weapons, namely Cryptonite Blade, Rocksidian Blade, and Jungle Gem Blade. In addition, these resources will allow players to craft 3 new holo swampsuits as well, which will give miners a unique look in the game.
Nonetheless, many players can't help but drool over the PL14 Elite Weapons available in the Sunken Swamps. That's understandable, as Elite equipment has the highest power level in Mines of Dalarnia. After all, the more you mine, the more you'll earn, right?
In a separate announcement, the team will also convert all open Quicksilver Events to Hopper Infestation Events. This will allow landowners to use up any remaining Quicksilver Capsules left from the last event.
