Mines of Dalarnia Is Launching Monthly Ape Quests Starting June 1st
Monthly Ape Quests comprise of various different competitions that Mines of Dalarnia players can participate in for $DAR rewards by owning a Mining Ape NFT at the time of snapshot.
The Mines of Dalarnia team has announced that, as part of update 1.3, they are officially launching a new event titled Monthly Ape Quests, with the first one starting on June 1st.
At the start of each month, a snapshot at 12 AM UTC will be taken in order to see which players own a Mining Ape NFT, which is needed to take part in these monthly events. You only need to own it for the snapshot though; once the snapshot is taken, you can participate for that particular month, but will have to make sure you have the NFT again for the next snapshot should you want to participate again.
According to the announcement, it seems that each month consists of one quest, but that one quest houses 10 different competitions, but taking part in all of them is not necessary. Each player has 10 competition attempts, and it’s up to you whether you’d like to use the available attempts for all competitions or only a few, with a limit of 5 attempts placed in per competition, meaning you have to play at least 2 different competitions to successfully finish a monthly quest. Regardless of the competition, it’s important to complete all 10 attempts in order to be eligible for rewards.
The total prize pool for these quests is 1.8 million $DAR, with 150 $DAR to be awarded per Ape for successfully completing a quest. This means that if you own multiple NFTs at the time of snapshot, you can earn more by completing quests for each Ape, with the official FAQ stating that “after completing quests for 10th Ape all of following will be completed automatically.”
While the plan is to run Monthly Ape Quests for 4 months, it may continue to last longer if the reward pool still has any funds remaining.
