Mines of Dalarnia Reveals Modbots Beta Season Is Set to Start on November 20th
Modbots Beta Season is set to start on November 20th and will end on December 20th at 2 PM UTC, allowing Mines of Dalarnia players to register at any time to participate for a chance at earning a share of a guaranteed 12,500 DAR prize pool, which can be increased by up to 40,000 DAR depending on the number of active players.

The Mines of Dalarnia team, who have recently launched the highly-anticipated Terraformed update, have officially announced that the Modbots Beta Season is planned to start on November 20th.
What Is Modbots?
Modbots is a new feature to the blockchain adventure mining game – in fact, it’s like a new idle game included as part of the latest large update. It gives players a chance at earning more DAR tokens by taking part in seasons, where those with the highest number of Moon Chips getting a higher share of the rewards. Moon Chips are what you mine in this mini-game using automated robots called Minerbots, which you have to defend from Storms using Defendbots.
Beta Season Details
The first-ever beta season for this new game will begin on Monday, November 20th at 2 PM UTC, which is when registration will officially open. You’ll need to be at least Miner Level 5 in order to participate, with the season set to end on December 20th at 2 PM UTC.
Players can choose to register whenever they want; there is no deadline to signing up for this season, and you don’t need to pay for anything either (except for gas fees).
There is an initial prize pool of 12.5k DAR up for grabs, which can up to a maximum pool of 40k DAR depending on the number of players and their activity. According to the announcement, “for every active Modbots player over 50,” they will add 250 DAR to the pool.
Basically, for a player to be considered active, they need to deploy 90 bots during the season.
Rewards will be claimable inside the game client 2 days after the season ends. Eligible players will have until January 6th, 2 PM UTC, to claim their prizes.
