Mines of Dalarnia, a blockchain action-adventure platform mining game have finally unveiled their next big update. This is coming after months of hardwork and designed to enhance each player’s gaming experience.
The build up of these updates began 3 months ago where the team hosted two AMA sessions on the new economy design. These sessions provided a proper introduction of the update to the community. It also featured three pivotal persons behind the project. They include Manfred Pack, the project lead; Keith McCullough, the game director and David Otero the game economy designer. Several questions were asked by the community members about the new economy design, which were later responded to.
The team also released an article in October on the new Land Tier List. This also introduced the Golden and Silver Shards. The Tier List system was added to help classify lands according to their unique qualities. The team further revealed the details of the changes made to land with the Terraformed Economy update. These changes included equal lands, new capsules, and land upgrades. Other are the timer replenishment and remaining digs with a claiming deadline of December 31st, 2023.
Introductions of Modbots and Capsule Replenishment Logic
The game mining platform also introduced an exciting feature named Modbots. This new idle game allowed players to earn $DAR tokens and also contribute actively to the mining resources of the game. The game was shared into different seasons with each featuring a distinct prize pool. At the end of each season, players were rewarded according to the number of Moon Chips gain. This was however weighed in comparison to the total Moon Chips collected by all players.
Furthermore, the team worked towards redefining the capsule replenishment logic. Thus, making the capsules more affordable. This change is peculiar to all landowners however, the team has suggested it may be an interesting topic for all miners.
