Mines of Dalarnia Reveals New Info on Satellite Lounge Multiplayer Beta
The Mines of Dalarnia Satellite Lounge Multiplayer Beta is scheduled to launch on testnet in early 2023, allowing a certain number of players to hang out together in a new environment for the very first time.

The Mines of Dalarnia team has recently shared new info on the upcoming Satellite Lounge Multiplayer Beta.
The Satellite Lounge represents the developer’s first step towards introducing proper multiplayer gameplay to the action-adventure blockchain mining title. This new location will be above one of the Dalarnian planets, and will be a place where players can hang out together for the very first time, use emotes, adjust equipment and more, while every Room has space for up to 5 players that can hop in and out at any time.
There will be 3 regions that players will be able to manually choose in the main menu to connect to: US East, Northern Europe and Eastern Asia. As for being able to recognize who is who in a Lounge, players will have the option to add a nickname to their wallet, which will be visible not only in the multiplayer mode, but also wherever else the wallet ID may appear. These nicknames will initially not be unique, and the option to change them whenever you want will be available.

The MoD Foundation plans to launch this online feature on testnet first, somewhere in early 2023, in order to ensure everything runs well before pushing it to mainnet. As a result, only some players will be given access to this version through a whitelisting process. From now on, other future major features will also go through this testnet phase with chosen players before they officially come out for everyone on the mainnet.
