Highlights of July Activities
On July 7, the game did some updates that revamped the mining contract quest system and fixed bugs. The next day, it published the July Developer's Letters which contains the primary development effort that will occur in July and August. It also published a recap of the action from the last NFT NYC, which Keith McCollough, the company's CEO, attended.
On July 12, the Project Lead Manfred Pack was on tv for an AMA session with BlockTalksDiscussion; on 14, it saw a key security update that introduced Captchas which now prevents bots from exploiting the game. Reports showed that the game has successfully shut down the largest botnet operating in its space.
The game featured its brand-new gameplay trailer plus a youtube video showing the Cat Armor. July 21 saw another gameplay update that enabled Canar-E skins, and players must hold a Canar-E NFT before they can unlock upgrades and additional perks. Additionally, DAR was listed on Binance US and trading starting on July 26, and a Miner Rank system was introduced on the 28.
August is another month for exploits, and the registration for the Concept Art Contest continues. In addition, the month will host more features, updates, bug fixes, and security improvements.
