MMORPG Mundo V1 Alpha Demo Is Live
The alpha demo of Mundo is available on Windows and Mac and lets players experience top-down MMORPG gameplay as the Gunslinger Duelist class.
After some delay, the developers of Mundo have announced that the alpha demo of the first version of the blockchain title is now officially available for download on PC as a Windows and Mac game.
Mundo is a free-to-play, play-and-earn high fantasy blockchain MMORPG inspired by the Philippine mythology and in development by Filipino developers. At the end of last year, the team shared a huge dev update in which they revealed pre-alpha gameplay demo footage, showing top-down action as the Gunslinger Duelist, which is a character you can play as in this latest demo, using his 4 different abilities to your advantage. One of those abilities is called Knockback Shot, and as the name implies, it allows you to push your enemies away from you with your bullets.
Those who are interested in trying this early version of the multiplayer title can do so by downloading the demo through relevant links found in the official Medium post. According to the announcement, aside from the previously-mentioned playable character, some of the other things included with this demo include item looting, leveling up, a boss fight and more.
In the future, according to the contents of the official wiki, the game will feature a total of 9 different classes to choose from, while including a pet system, crafting system, and its own Mundo (MND) token that will be used for staking, buying NFTs on the game’s official marketplace as well as for purchasing Mundo Crystals, an in-game currency will be usable in a Premium Shop but also earnable by winning in Guild Wars, tournaments, PvP and more.
