Mocaverse Announces Mocana Odyssey: Cosmic Hunt
Mocana Odyssey: Cosmic Hunt is a social experience that revolves around buying Tools using Moca XP earned from Season 1 and equipping them to Moca NFTs in order to excavate Relics containing rewards scattered throughout various plots.
Mocaverse, a membership NFT collection by Animoca Brands, has announced the launch of Mocana Odyssey: Cosmic Hunt, a social experience representing the end of Season 1.
This acts as the first version, or v0.1, of the Mocaverse “Social Hub” and tasks Moca holders with uncovering Relics scattered throughout various plots.
Players start off at the Neo-Depot and use the Moca XP earned in the first season to buy various tools needed for excavating Relics. There are 3 tiers of Tools to choose from, each differing in Eligible Rank, Price in XP, Battery Level, and Relic Compatibility. Eligible Rank represents the minimum Moca XP leaderboard ranking you need in order to be able to buy the Tool, while Relic Compatibility determines which Tiers of Relic you’re able to excavate, and Battery Level shows you how many times you can use the same Tool for excavation.
You can buy as many tools as you want, but each Moca can only equip up to 3 Tools at the same time. Once you’re ready, you can head to the excavation map and work your way through various plots, uncovering info about them while entering a Cool-Down period after excavating a plot so the Moca can rest for a bit before continuing on. When excavating a plot, 6 different things can happen. You’ll either end up finding an empty plot, a battery, a clue, a special reward, a mined plot indicating a Relic was already taken by someone else, or you’ll find a Relic.
Relics are hidden treasures that can have various different rewards, including a Treasure Box, Token Packs, Moca XP Booster, MAYC or various other NFTs.
