Mocaverse Launches Moca ID and Realm Points
The Moca ID is expected to be the ultimate identity in navigating Web2 and Web3 experiences.
Mocaverse has announced it will be launching Moca ID and Realm Points. This update is coming after it raised $20 million in funds to boost product development, Web2 and Web3 adoption, as well as to grow the biggest ecosystem of Web3 culture and entertainment.
The Moca ID
Mocaverse just finished season 1 of Mocana, which ended on a brighter note with v1 of Social Hub – Cosmic Hub, where they created certain boundaries to set the standard in Web3. As season two commences, the community will enjoy more rewards, more partners, more utilities, and more stage-based immersive experiences.
The goal is to perfect the Web3 Frequent Player Program, which features the Moca ID and the Realm Points. The Moca ID is an on-chain decentralized identity (DID) that allows users to travel through Animoca Brands’ network of more than 450+ portfolio companies, besides the increasing partner ecosystem.
The gaming platform said, “We designed the Moca ID to be inclusive by expanding our ecosystem and broadening our reach, but you have to earn it. the distribution of Moca ID will be limited and only the active fans will unlock and maximize the true value from their unique Moca IDs.”
Realm Points Work with Moca ID
Realm Points was introduced in season one as a concept called Moca XP, which is a system that gauges how engaged Moca NFT holders are within the Mocaverse ecosystem. However, Realm Points are different because players need to use the Moca IDs to teleport through the Mocana Odyssey and get rewards in form of Points.
Users can invite their friends and family to Mocana using the Invite Codes. This, however, can only be done by Moca NFT Holders, Partner Communities, Ambassadors, Content Creators, and active Moca ID Holders. The Invite Code will be distributed in phases, with NFT holders coming first.
