My DeFi Pet Game Plans Pet Migration to V2
Due to the lower DPET market price, My DeFi Pet votes on migrating over 3.3M Playable Pets to reinvent its model.
My DeFi Pet has gained the status of one of the top grossing P2E games featuring DeFi technology. The game, which is a combination of NFT staking and gameplay, achieved high earnings at the peak of 2021. However, My DeFi Pet is currently attempting to revamp itself through a site redesign, new game features for 2022 and a V2 financial structure.
Voting is open until May 21st for two proposals: the Pet V2 proposal and the best method for integrating and generating new NFTs. The choice is either to upgrade all pets to V2 or to keep the V1 pets and introduce a new generation, with the most likely option being to upgrade all pets to V2.
The earnings of the My DeFi Pet game have declined in the past year, mainly because of the DPET token. The token has fallen to a low of $0.18 from its peak of $9.52 and it is heavily reliant on KuCoin and Gate.IO trading, resulting in limited decentralized activity.
The game is making its best efforts to maintain its appeal with event-based gameplay modes and introducing special rewards in order to increase its player count, which has dropped to under 600 each day. The game also hosts boss fights and activities with a prize pool of roughly $10,000.
My DeFi Pet is a blockchain game with a variety of features. Some of the gameplay offerings include collecting, breeding, evolving, battling with, and trading pets. The chance of receiving DPET rewards increases as players spend more time in the game and explore its world. DPET can be earned through various missions and social mining opportunities in the game.
