Mythical Games Loses Top Three Executives
The gaming studio veterans haven't abandoned Web 3.0 as they plan to start something new.
The Executives Exodus
Mythical Games, a Web3 gaming studio, saw yet another talent migration. Three leading executives at the gaming studio announced they were quitting the company yesterday.
Rudy Koch, a startup co-founder, declared on LinkedIn that he was ready for a change after four years with the business. He said in a LinkedIn post: "So, what's next? Well I'm not finished with Web 3.0; far from it, I have a new venture cooking, and I can't wait to share it with you all in the next couple of weeks."
In addition, Chris Ko, senior Vice President of strategy and investments, who had been working at Mythical for less than a year, announced he would be starting something new. Mythical's chief operating officer and head of game studios & publishing, Matt Nutt, also joined the exodus. He mentioned on a LinkedIn post: "I'll be in stealth mode working on something new starting next week, Look forward to sharing more on what's next in the coming weeks!"
These three executives have been identified as veterans of the gaming industry. They have previously worked at Blizzard, Activision and Electronic Arts. Nate Nesbitt, Mythical Games spokesperson, said,
“We are grateful to them for their leadership and the significant contributions they've made in helping the company get to this point, and wish them the best in the future.”
