Nakamoto Games Is Launching the Game Developer Dashboard for Seamless Transition of Web2 Games to Web3
The Game Developer Dashboard is launching on Friday, July 21, making it possible for creators to submit their Web2 games for an opportunity of transitioning over to Web3 by becoming a part of the Nakamoto Games play-to-earn platform.
The team behind play-to-earn platform Nakamoto Games has just recently revealed that they are planning to launch the Game Developer Dashboard on Friday, July 21, in order to enable Web2 developers to seamlessly transition their traditional games over to Web3.
By introducing this feature, the platform aims to make it easier for all game developers to enter the world of Web3. In this case, developers will have access to a system that will make it possible to turn their standard Web2 titles into blockchain games that are a part of the $NAKA ecosystem. Not only will developers get to integrate the platform’s native token, but it’ll also be possible to mint NFTs as well.
Interested developers will soon be able to submit their games for approval in the upcoming new dashboard. If accepted, developers will gain access to the $NAKA SDK that is needed in order to be able to successfully turn their games into Web3 titles that are a part of the ever-growing arcade-focused ecosystem, giving players the opportunity to earn $NAKA tokens from their games, and potentially own NFTs that make it possible for developers to bring ownership rights of their games to their players, as has been seen before on the platform with the launch of Arcade Emporium NFTs.
Developers who get accepted and end up converting their games will have the opportunity of earning passive income as long as it’s on the platform. This means that whenever someone plays your game, you’ll get to earn a piece of the prize pool that players compete for. Should you ever want to move on, then you’ll have the option of selling your game on the NAKA marketplace, thus giving the passive income and ownership rights to someone else.
The Nakamoto Games team said the following in their announcement:
“The introduction of the Game Developer Dashboard is expected to fuel an influx of new games to the Nakamoto Games platform, rapidly broadening the available genres and titles. In turn, this expansion is projected to boost the demand for $NAKA tokens as developers purchase and stake them to leverage the Game Developer Dashboard and $NAKA SDK functionalities.”
To mark the occasion, the platform plans to host a couple of game dev events at various universities in Thailand, starting with an event at Mahidol University. Through these events, the team aims to show what’s possible with the Game Developer Dashboard while encouraging developers to submit their games to the platform.
