Neopets Metaverse to begin Treasure Hunt and release Turmac Roll mini-game on August 15th
The Neopets Metaverse Treasure Hunt features more than $10k worth of NFTs, with the first clue set to be revealed on August 15th.
The developers of Neopets Metaverse, a free-to-play Web3 virtual pet game based on the classic browser title, are set to launch a mini-game called Turmac Roll while kicking off the Treasure Hunt competition tomorrow on August 15th.
On the official Twitter account of the play-and-earn title, the team plan to tweet the first clue, as well as reveal how many clues need to be solved in order to find the treasure. After the first clue is solved, the next one will be given, with the first 100 teams to solve all the clues set to be included on a leaderboard. Users will be able to find clues “anywhere within our existing links and resources.” Those who end up being the fastest will receive various prizes. In this case, only the first 16 will be able to reap the rewards. At the time of writing, there doesn’t seem to be any official info on the distribution of the total prize pool, which consists of more than $10k worth of NFTs from the team and their partners. The partners for the Neopets Metaverse Treasure Hunt are the following: Big Time, Fractal, DarleyGo, Weirdo Ghost Gang and .bit.
As for Turmac Roll, it seems to be a 2.5D runner mini-game for which you can get a sneak peek of in the tweet down below:
