NFL Rivals Announces Halloween-Themed Monster Smash Program
NFL Rivals is getting a Halloween-themed program called Monster Smash starting on Thursday, September 28th, bringing new spooky artwork to cards and more.

Mythical Games has officially announced that the Halloween-themed program for NFL Rivals, Monster Smash, is launching on Thursday, September 28th.
What is the Monster Smash Program?
The Monster Smash program is the game’s first distinct program to not be tied to any NFL-related events, and is one where cards will be transformed to feature spooky artwork in tune with Halloween every Friday during October. On those Fridays, which the studio refers to as “Monster Mode,” all Monster Smash program players will be given a 10-point boost to all card stats temporarily, without taking into account final PWR ratings.
New In-Game Reward System & Card Packs
The program brings with it a new in-game reward system called Candies. Made specifically for this program, the new point system will be earnable in the Program Hub and in limited time “Trick or Treat” events. These events will appear from time to time and require players to complete various different tasks in an effort to earn Candies, with the amount varying from one event to the next. Candies will be usable in the Connect store for buying more players from this program.
As is tradition, this holiday-themed event brings too with it new player packs and chase cards. Luminous cards are coming back, with packs set to feature 8 Legendary, 10 Epic, and 12 Rare players. Chase cards will give managers the chance to gain 2 Epic, 8 Legendary, and 2 Mythical players.
