Nine Chronicles Announces New Equipment Update: Aura
Nine Chronicles is getting a new equipment update in the form of Aura, through which players can gain powerful stat buffs by equipping it into a new slot and using it in any game mode.
What is Aura?
Aura is a new equipment system that aims to enhance your gaming experience by functioning like runes while giving powerful stat bonuses and guaranteeing a skill, with a new slot for Aura added to your inventory. It can be used in adventures, in the Arena, against World Bosses, wherever you want.
When equipped, you’ll see energy fields around your avatar, which change into 3 unique appearances as your Aura levels up. Upgrading Aura costs only one Block. No NCG tokens are needed for the upgrade, and according to the announcement, you won’t have to worry about losing progress, as you keep 100% of experience points when using a previously upgraded Aura as material.
How to get Aura
Auras can be summoned from the workshop using Golden Dust. They come in varied rarities, and since a gacha system is in place for summoning Auras, you won’t know which one you’ll get, with rarer Auras having a lower chance of appearing. Summoning one Aura costs 20 Golden Dust. You can get Golden Dust as a staking reward at Monster Collection Level 7, through a PC-only Golden Dust Super Sale, and through the mobile version shop. The shop from the mobile version will be updated in the weeks ahead, while the Golden Dust Super Sale will be a part of the Special Aura Launch Event starting on Monday, allowing you to buy Golden Dust using NCG at a discounted price for a limited time.
