Nine Chronicles is Planning to Launch its Own NFT PFP Project This Year
After seeing much appeal for the blockchain RPG, Nine Chronicles will release a series of NFT PFPs in Q3 2022.

Planetarium Labs' flagship blockchain RPG Nine Chronicles is going to kick off its own NFT PFP project soon! According to the team, owning one of these NFTs will grant you access to a secret society run by D:CC or De:Centralized Cat. Thus, unlocking various perks and benefits along the way.
To those who don't know, Nine Chronicles is a game based on Norse Mythology with a feline twist. From the NPCs to the main character, everyone is a cat playing different roles in this fantasy world. Given that, it is only fitting for the team to reveal an elite society made up of De:Centralized Cats or D:CC for its upcoming NFT project.
But what can we do with these PFPs (profile pictures)? First off, the NFTs will serve as players' alter egos in Nine Chronicles. By using these PFPs as costumes for their avatars, players can show off their unique appearances in the game.
As mentioned, those who own a Nine Chronicles NFT will become a member of D:CC. With that, they can enjoy various perks, benefits, in-game items, and additional currencies only available to the members of the club. As a bonus, D:CC members will also have a say on all future collabs related to Nine Chronicles.
When is the mint date?
Unfortunately, the team behind Nine Chronicles has not revealed the exact date to launch these NFTs. Though it is expected to happen sometime in Q3 this year.
Those who want to get notified of the minting schedule can sign up for updates on the D:CC website. According to Planetarium, the team might even issue allowlist spots to a few early birds on the list.
All in all, it looks like Nine Chronicles is ready to ramp things up. Early this month, the team secured $32 million in funding to develop the community-driven title. And just a few days ago, the game concluded Arena Season 4, with Season 5 on its way soon.
