Nomad Exiles developers reveal info on upcoming new version of the tactical RPG
The new version will include a revamped Quick Battles mode, better enemy AI and more.

Nomad Exiles, a tactical turn-based RPG, is planned to be updated soon with a new version of the alpha build.
Ahead of this update, the developers have released a Medium post giving us info on what we can expect to see in this upcoming release.
In this new version, players will be able to try out a revamped Quick Battles mode. This means that instead of just having the option to play the 5 available battles as has been the case so far, the new version will include an entire single-player episode featuring “its own story, character and choices.”
As there’ll be choices to make, this also means that we’re getting a new dialog system with the option to make decisions that “determine the outcome of your battles!” The new version will also have a new scenario controller for these battles, which means that there’ll be events happening during a battle, such as dialogue, effects, enemies coming to the battlefield and more, all being handled by this scenario controller.
Not only has the enemy AI got an upgrade in this new version, but the developers have also introduced a variety of new enemies that have unique skills to the Quick Battles mode, while making balancing changes to “skills, effects, and test mode for NFT heroes.” The same mode now comes with new “Paths, Path Combinations, and Effects” while the game’s environments have undergone a visual improvement.
This new version is planned to be announced in a couple of days. In the meantime, you can try out the current open alpha version on PC via browser by heading to the game’s official website.
