Pegaxy Set to Launch Chest Rewards
Pegaxy will introduce Chest NFT rewards, making the game more attractive by removing bots and improving the market price of VIS.
Pegaxy is introducing a mystery NFT reward to its games. The NFT Chest will be part of the tentative plans to make the game more interesting and engaging. The company initially announced introducing food as a consumable at NFT Pegas. In addition, the chest-and-key system will be a feature for in-game consumables.
Via a tweet through its handle, Pegaxy said,
“Chest Rewards Coming Soon!! Introducing the concept of ‘drop racing’ where users can use their energy to obtain rewards. This new drop system will have a ‘chest and key’ approach where users can get different consumables to use in-game.”
This feature is coming after Pegaxy did a scheduled maintenance to restore all functionalities. This maintenance reduced the player count to 6000 users with about $140,000 in balance. The number of players also diminished after Pegaxy banned close to 20,000 wallets assumed to belong to bots. This suggests that there have been bot activities in the game initially.
Pegaxy is committed to attracting real players by making the game more interesting and will not tolerate bot activities.
VIS Burn Mechanics
Pegaxy is currently trying to increase the market price of its Vigorous (VIS) asset. Though there are multiple sinks like Fusion, breeding, and Genetic Fusion to burn VIS, the supply is still high, and the price is low. VIS had an initial mint/burn ratio but needs more sinks than before because it has fallen to $0.00013, and new tokens are created continually. PGX is managing to hover above a penny, trading at $0.017.
Breeding is not helping as it has led to an oversupply of NFT. There are over 909k Pegas on OpenSea with a floor price of 0.002ETH. So, the lowest-ranking Pegas will not produce worthy earnings.
Also, there are more owners of Pega than the active players. So, it means only scholars and guilds can go to top competitions. It is unlikely for beginners to have any chance of winning the competition despite the lobby picking system that allows players to choose the stadiums for the competition.
