Want to play Pegaxy? The team is making it easier for you
After running the game for nearly 10 months, the team behind Pegaxy finally reveals the correlation between Pega stats and stadiums. Prior to this, it's up to the players to connect the dots instead. Now, they can make more informed decisions before sending their Pegas to compete.
Now and then, the team will post a series of these in-game tips, narrated by a virtual character named Sophia. By analyzing all of the past races, the avid researcher will share her insights on what works and what doesn't. As of writing, Sophia already posted two snippets with valuable info. Let's check them out!
Here's the rundown by Sophia
To start off, there are 4 stages to a Pega's velocity throughout a race: Initial burst of speed, Deceleration, Pacing Speed, and Final Burst of Speed. Every stage is affected by the stadium's environment except when the horse is pacing. On that matter, Pegas' pacing speed is quite consistent in every stadium.
However, when racing in a Fire Stadium, all Pegas tend to have short bursts of speed at the pacing stage. In fact, Pegas with high Fire attributes will do even more of these. In comparison, there are not as many short bursts seen in other types of stadiums such as Water Stadium.
Other than that, Pegas with higher strength will have lower pacing speed as well. So, it's crucial to find a balance between the two.
