Pegaxy To Introduce Skill-Based Gameplay In Q3 This Year
With the release of Pegaxy's new roadmap, the company announced that a first-skill-based gameplay mode will be available in Q3 of this year.
Pegaxy's large userbase has previously only experienced luck-based gameplay, but they will soon be moving into skill-based gameplay. While the exact method of accomplishing this is unconfirmed, it is expected that users will be able to direct and control their horses in some way whilst working on their speed and direction.
The team recognizes this update as one of the most anticipated ones. In a recent video posted by the official Pegaxy YouTube channel, they said :
"We'll put a significant amount of resources and time into making that happen. We have been working on skill-based gameplay for quite a while and have mainly focused on two aspects: game mechanics and making the game fun."
Other stages on their roadmap include a drop system, stable management, ranking and competitions, and a battle pass. The various stages will be completed between now and the end of Q1 of next year.
Many people are excited about the potential of the new roadmap, particularly the skill-based gameplay section. One game user wrote on Twitter:
“Pegaxy dev team keeps building and stays agile with market changes. What made sense 3 months ago may not make sense today. Loving the updated roadmap. Keep up the great work!”
Pegaxy is a PVP and play-to-earn horse racing game in which players buy, own, and race their horses in the pursuit of making revenue from the game's race earnings. Users also compete against 11 other users who own horses, with the goal of finishing in the top three in each race.
Since the game is centered around mobile natives, the release will first come to mobile devices.
