PlanetQuest Records Huge Success from its First Planet Sale
PlanetQuest has announced that its first planet sale was a huge success with $60 Million in commitments.
PlanetQuest has confirmed that its first planet sale was a huge success, receiving over 10,000 applications for the planet sale and $60M in commitments from enthusiastic community members.
The Significance of PlanetQuest Planet Sale
PlanetQuest's gameplay main proposition was established on the ability to own and operate planets. The gaming platform adopted an entirely new pattern when it opened up sales for these NFT-based planets. Rather than leaving it to a bidding war that may risk some enthusiastic community members getting priced out, the gaming platform adopted the application method that requires anybody wishing to own a planet to submit a comprehensive proposal on why they were the most eligible.
The platform hopes the newly adopted method will attract people already invested in the project and its future.
What's Next After the Successful Planet Sale?
As stated earlier, PlanetQuest revealed that the platform recorded over 10,000 applications for the limited number of planets on sale and $60M worth of commitments from enthusiastic community members. In the coming days, PlanetQuest is set to assess these applications. The platform will allow successful applicants to purchase the planets of their choice for the P2E game. However, this would require all applicants to be patient enough.
In addition, it was revealed that 3030 planets are available for sale. While each NFT planet is unique, the most popular category features around 1800 planets, and the criteria for choosing winning applications for this category will be pretty straightforward. The second category is termed "rare," they are not common, but they are also not that exclusive. Around 900 of this category will be available for sale. The last two categories are the most competitive.
For beginners, "Epic" planets, which have more value than the two mentioned above, will attract more interest. However, only 300 of them will be available for sale. On the other hand, "Legendary" planets, which are the most limited and costly of them all, will only have 30 available for sale.
