PlanetQuest Shares Details of Outposts Preview
The preview showcased the importance of player feedback, and the team's commitment to refining the game.

PlanetQuest has just finished conducting its first Outposts preview. The aim was to assess the game's functionality, connectivity, resource generation, and progression. Despite a few hurdles, the preview was deemed successful, with most systems working as intended. Players actively participated, gave valuable feedback that were addressed by the development team.
One notable addition during the preview was the introduction of "complications." Despite initial challenges, the community later overcame them and it contributed to the success of the mission.
The dev team focused on creating a robust data structure for PQ: Outposts, ensuring efficient resource usage. One of the recommendations is real-time communication between the system and players and has been added.
PQ has Effective Player's Feedback
The community's support during the preview was overwhelming, with impressive statistics. This included over 1.2 billion drones created, 7 billion units of Materials and Energy generated, and 8 billion Raw Quantum units in just two weeks. Discussions on the dedicated Discord channel surpassed 2.5k messages. Thus, showcasing the active engagement of players.
Looking ahead, PlanetQuest is implementing player feedback and addressing bugs. It is also introducing UI improvements for the next preview, termed an "early game preview." This will focus on the first 3 days of gameplay, emphasizing the new player experience.
The next Outposts preview is scheduled for January. This is to allow players to return for the Early Game Preview, starting with a Dwarf Planet and providing a guided introduction to the game. The goal is to ensure the experience is fun and engaging for all players.
PlanetQuest has decided to move the PQ: Frontiers Technology Preview to February 2024. This is in acknowledgment of the effort required for successful greenlight sessions. Additionally, a graphic preview of PQ: The Graphic Novel is set for December, offering players a glimpse into this exciting venture.
