Graffiti Racer

PlayMining, a web3 entertainment company, has announced the launch of Graffiti Racer, a new NFT game. Graffiti Racer has joined the catalogue of four Play-to-Earn(P2E) PlayMining GameFi games that allow players to earn DEApcoin.

In Graffiti Racer, players can colour characters from the 'NFT sheet' with stamina, speed and handling attributes. Once coloured, the characters can participate in exciting races on challenging tracks. Players with the highest scores will receive rewards. These rewards can be used to buy additional NFT sheets.

Kozo Yamada, the co-CEO and co-founder of Digital Entertainment Asset(DEA), describes Graffiti Racer's combination of colouring and racing as a “brand new kind of NFT game that players are sure to love”. He also noted that PlayMining games usually appealed to working adults and students who would appreciate the casual, relaxing entertainment amidst their busy schedules.

DEAPcoin is the first and only P2E token currently recognized by the Financial Services Agency of Japan. Hence, PlayMining has provided a competitive advantage to games published on its platform. In addition, PlayMining's NFT market includes NFTs from well-known authors and artists. This wide range of NFT sources presents a variety of use cases for DEAPcoin.

PlayMining’s Involvement in Creative Intellectual Property Space

The gaming industry has been known for siphoning off substantial portions of developers’ revenues, with other parties, such as distributors capturing the larger share of the revenue. However, one of PlayMining’s primary goals is to create a more equitable system for Intellectual Property monetization.

The platform operates transparently by using blockchain technology and charging lesser fees. This is to ensure that the system works seamlessly. It is visible in the PlayMining NFT market, where the blockchain tracks purchases. In addition, royalties are distributed to the official IP owners and fan artists. The marketplace has paid over SG$9 million in royalties and housed artworks from over 100 creators.
