Re:Anima, a free-to-play autobattler RPG on Arbitrum, is now officially live in Phase 2 of Open Beta, following two weeks of upgrades and server maintenance.

What’s New in Open Beta Phase 2?

According to the announcement, the second phase of the open beta brings with it a host of optimizations and improvements while updating the Terms of Use in order to “uphold fair gameplay” for everyone. As a result, returning players will have to accept the Terms of Service again upon logging in.

Launched on October 18th at 4 PM UTC, this new phase features new mint restrictions, anti-bot implementation, and patch 1.2, which contains various major and minor bug fixes, as well as quality of life (QoL) updates.

The new mint restrictions require players to reach Chapter 7-150 in order to unlock the minting feature, with a transaction fee in place for every mint transaction. In the announcement, it is stated that this rule has been introduced to stop botting while providing a fair experience. The same post however mentions that the mint feature “will be paused for another 2 weeks until the new mint restrictions are implemented,” with the developers set to announce more information in the future.

In this effort to keep a level playing field, an anti-botting feature has been implemented. This system is said to detect “repetitive and suspicious behaviors” automatically. If you end up being banned by mistake though, the team encourages anyone unfairly affected reach out in the support channel of the game’s official Discord server.
