Version 1.0 of Rebel Bots Xoil Wars, a 2D card battle strategy game similar to Axie Infinity pre-Origins, is now officially live on the Polygon network.

Official Launch Details

In order to play this full release, you need to own 3 fighting bots and 1 land. These are all NFTs available on the game’s official marketplace found on their website, where you can connect your wallet to the Polygon network in order to purchase assets using ETH. You can also purchase a battle set directly from the developers from the game’s official website, allowing you to get all the assets in one bundle instead of purchasing separately from other players.

Fighting bots are the characters you use to form your team. They consist of various different body parts that determine the cards you can have in your deck when that bot is in battle. As a result, there are different classes of bots, and each bot also has a certain ability that could give you a tactical edge over your opponent. Land on the other hand, is your base of operations consisting of various buildings that serve differing functions, such as player communication, training bots, building new ones, and more.

Based on the release roadmap revealed last month for this mainnet release, this official launch includes core features such as PVP, rewards, global player leaderboards, buffs & debuffs, 300+ Battle Cards, and more.

The game is available for download on Windows, Mac, and Android devices.

What’s Up Next?

Now that the game is live on mainnet, the developers will look to releasing some major updates that are estimated to arrive 6 weeks after launch. The ones given priority include renting, guild dashboard, Barracks improvements, and Bot-O-Matic improvements. Next to these, there are more updates planned in the store for the future, among which notably include iOS support, while 2 features particularly labeled to be released “with economic stability” include the PVE Mode and Daily Challenges.
