Details on the mining and crafting features of RoboHero, a robot-themed play-to-earn mobile metaverse, have been talked about in the development team’s recent post.

There are various different ways players will be able to passively earn while playing – one of them includes becoming a mine owner. In this robotic metaverse, there are 2232 mines divided into 4 different sizes: small (1116), medium (700), large (416) and extra-large (100). Each of these is not only different in size, but also in the amount of materials that can be mined from them. 5% of the total number of mined material goes to the land owner and a 5% fee is taken by the developers. Once all mines are sold out, new ones will randomly-generate on lands. According to the whitepaper, there are a total of 1944 lands, split into small (1728), medium (144) and large (72). A limited number of turn-based PVP fights can take place on each type of land every week. The amount of mines present also varies, with small lands containing 1 mine, medium lands 2 and large lands 3 mines. While the location of a mine cannot be altered, selling it will be an option, as will trading various mined resources on the marketplace, such as iron, copper and titanium.

In order to craft weapons and armor, players may need some of the mined raw materials coupled with precious metals and the game’s $ROBO token. These crafted items can be traded on the marketplace.

Players can currently jump into the watch-to-earn Android app to earn points by watching ads, allowing players to get a robot NFT for free. According to the roadmap containing 7 different stages with no specific timeframes, the project is currently at stage 5, during which a public demo for the PVE mode is set to release on Android devices, while the RoboHero game is scheduled to launch on the Google Play Store and App Store sometime in stage 6.
