Rumble Kong League Showcases Important New Feature
The latest development footage on Rumble Kong League gives us a showcase of various new things in the works, including a new feature called the shooting bar that requires players to time their shots properly in order to make a perfect shot.
Game development Rumble League Studios has revealed that they’re working on an important new upcoming feature for Rumble Kong League, a play-to-earn basketball metaverse.
The feature was showcased in video form in the latest episode of Rumble Rewind, posted on the game’s official Twitter profile at the beginning of this month. Throughout the one minute footage, we get to see the new feature, referred to as the “shooting bomb” in action. This means when shooting, a slider will pop up with a green part in the middle of it. The goal is to time your shot so that the moving arrow stops on the green part in order to make a good shot. If you have a higher shooting boost, then the green bar will be wider, making it easier to time your shot.
Aside from introducing this feature to gameplay, the video also shows further player input functionality, one of which makes it easier for you to steal the ball from your opponent. There will also be a new sprint button for faster running, with the team advising to be mindful of what you do on the court, as every action consumes a certain number of energy points. The developers have also mentioned that they’re working on redesigning the UI, giving us a glimpse of what the revamp looks like so far while also showing us some work-in-progress expressions they’re working on in order to add more emotional depth to the Kongs on the court.
