Scuti Announces Partnership with NBALab for NBA Reclaimed
The new partnership between Scuti and NBALab will allow users of the Scuti Store to buy and have a first look at unique collectibles from the officially-licensed NBA Reclaimed program, earning SCUTI$ rewards on every purchase.
Scuti, a gaming marketplace labelled as a "pioneer in rewarded gCommerce" (which means commerce through gaming) has officially announced a partnership with NBALab, a "disruptive" research and development incubator that puts focus on strategic partnerships, innovative design and imaginative concepts, while managing the officially-licensed program called NBA Reclaimed that is designed for repurposing game-used courts.
The Chief Creative Officer at NBALab, Billi Kid, said the following in a press release:
“NBALAB is constantly looking for new industries to immerse ourselves into and innovative platforms to offer our unique products to fans, and we found both with SCUTI. We’re excited to offer gamers a chance to own a piece of history!”
Thanks to this new partnership, gamers will have the opportunity to purchase and get a first look at various unique collectibles from the NBA Reclaimed program over on the Scuti Store, with assets including figurines and parts of historic courts. By buying through the Scuti marketplace, buyers earn rewards in the form of SCUTI$ on every purchase. These rewards can then be used to make in-game purchases in partnered projects, with it all being paid for by brands. According to the press release, the gamified gCommerce platform together with its in-play advertising partners "never interrupt game play," while at the same time giving gamers the option to directly purchase various curated products when playing a game, as can be seen with their partnership with AlterVerse for shoppable billboards that was announced back in January this year.
